Choosing Between Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing

Assisted living at Regency Park Senior Living offers your loved one premiere senior care in a warm and friendly full-service community.  When considering making the change from independent living, people often wonder if they need assisted living or skilled nursing for their loved one.  With assisted living at Regency Park, our residents enjoy three delicious chef-prepared meals daily as well as assistance with daily tasks depending on their level of need.  We offer assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing, medication and escorts to and from meals. Our well-trained and dedicated staff is available around the clock.

Skilled nursing is usually for individuals recovering after a recent hospitalization or a significant decline in health requiring a higher level of medical care and attention.  Skilled nursing offers a medical setting that is typically a temporary option until the individual can return home.

While skilled nursing necessitates the need for extensive medical care, assisted living focuses on creating an environment where residents enjoy a stimulating and fulfilling life.  At Regency Park, as well as caring for our residents, we create an exciting and active social calendar for them.  Our residents can choose from daily activities including fitness classes, art classes, gardening, guest speakers, history classes, nightly entertainment and more.  Our goal is to ensure the happiness and wellbeing of our residents while helping them enjoy the highest level of independence possible.  They set their own schedules and we are here to support them.

With over 50 years of serving seniors at each of our communities exclusively in Pasadena, Regency Park Senior Living goes the extra mile in offering premiere assisted living.
